A lovely close and comfortable shave. A different Lord blade today. All Lord blades which I have used are smooth and forgiving. Not the sharpest out there but easy to use very nice
It's been snowing here all day and more forecast overnight.

I'm really beginning to appreciate the extra bite (and closeness) from the R1... extra bite may vary if you're used to something more bitey! Not for use every single day, but the R1 makes a great partnership with my Weber. Definitely no extra touch-ups required, and smooth as the proverbial!

Sorry for the really late reply. I finished with the Permasharp - just a little tidy up around my chin and upper lip and an ATG pass under my chin.
It was my fourth use of the blade and it did OK. In fact, I just had a full shave with it today and decided, toward the end of my 3rd pass, that it's probably past its best.
