I watched the Brit flick Harry Brown (2009) last night and actually enjoyed its bleakness and stark look at reality in today's modern U.K. Other than a few technical errors I was impressed with Michael Caine's performance (as usual).

The Wee Man

Based on the extraordinary and well documented life story of reformed Glaswegian gangster Paul Ferris.
Set in the late 80s and early 90s

Makes the Krays look like a couple of Boy Scouts!

I watched it on Amazon Prime Video but it may be on Netflix also.

10/10 well worth a watch! P.

'Eurovision' with Will Ferrel

Storyline? To win the Eurovision song competition for Iceland. Not much else to say about it except it is that damn naff it is brilliant. And if you don't come away singing 'Jaja Ding Dong' I would be surprised

There's something about Scottish "hard men", they come across as more ferocious but still retain some humanity...will give it a watch as a couple of my favourite films / dramas ("just a boy's game" and "a sense of freedom") are set in Glasgow...
