So the blocks are standard olive oil soap - about £2/kg at the (expensive) yoghurt-weavers shop here.

Shave cloth looks like a flannel.

And WTF is this "fast paste"?

Do you think he has a blade in that razor, he was pretty clean shaven before he started.

Okay I don't live in Texas, but WTF is the difference between a "DRY" weather shave and the standard method.

A guy comes along with a whole new "system" that requires you to buy expensive products you can only get from him (including a flannel he "designed") and that doesn't set alarm bells ringing for them?

I mean come on, that's one step up from asking for your bank account number. I find it hard to believe any sane person would stick with such an approach. I think he's selling it on the basis of the marketing alone, trying to create a sense of elitism. The emperor has no clothes, but his hype makes it difficult for people to admit it (specially if they've already been fool enough to fork out cash).

Of course, if I'm wrong and Method Shaving is the best thing since sliced bread I take it all back. Any chance of some shares in your company.... please? Sir? :lol:

No, this "method shaving" thing works. I've bought the whole system - inc. the flannel - and it's fantastic. I'm also a Scientologist.

Never tried the system, doubt I ever will. Just reading some of the bull Charles puts out was enough to turn me away. Yet, as with almost anything, there are "true believers" who extol the virtues of method shaving to we shaving heathen non-buyers of this proprietary system.
