Gillette 7 o'clock yellow

Just finished my first Green blade. Have got 3 shaves out of it and I reckon it could stretch to 4.

The difference between it and a Derby are very noticeable for me. A much smoother shave.

If the rest of the pack are this good I can see me ordering a fair few when the EBay bloke gets them on.

Be interesting to see how I get on with the yellows.

And then there is the Blacks. And Nacets. And Perma-Sharp Supers. And SuperThins. And Astra Stainless. And Astra Platinums. And Goals. And Platinums. And (expires breathlessly).

And that's just Gillette.

Since my last post I've tried greens, yellows, super thins and Astra platinum.

Personally I'd put green and super thin at the top with the others following very closely behind.

Greens meaning Super Stainless I presume (rather than Permasharp?). I'd agree with that.
The Yellows seem more prone to nicks in my opinion. They are also a bit rough on the first pass for me and a couple of others have found the same.

Had a nice first shave with the Yellows. Got some Greens, Blacks (super plats) and Super Thins on the way!

I've got some Gillette 7 O' clock yellows (5+1free) in a sample pack. I won't be using them just yet so I may be evicting the moths from the pack by the time I do.
