A faggot is composed of a couple of the more obscure parts of a pig, onion, breadcrumbs, herbs and seasoning. I shan't be more specific because it'd be a shame to put anyone off - they're truly delicious.
 
Haha, I was playing devil's advocate. I'm sure Canard à la presse doesn't contain connective tissue...

I always thought haggis had the most bodacious ingredients - a sheep's pluck, i.e. heart, lungs and liver. That's the ersatz haggis of course. The original and best ones are hunted and shot in the Scottish highlands.
