Magic words.stick with UK vendors
You are actually paying the charges to HMRC (UK) + carrier fees .... it's not sent to the EU supplier ....You should stick with UK vendors till things level out.
I got stung with a £60 fee for my new Shavemac today... ouch!!
Yes PaulWould I be charged extra fees for goods brought from Gurnsey?
Paul.
Thank you for the clarification Russ.Yes Paul
Guernsey entered into a customs Union with Jersey , the UK and Isle of Man, but that only covers excise duty , so there would still be a vat liability as they enter the UK.
Going to the EU in most cases there won't be a charge as they reached an agreement.

Don't apologise - I know better Scotsmen than me that take ice with a dram, it's cool - it melts - personally - I'm a half - hauf, in the vernacular - and a splash of water - for Islay - I prefer Bunnahabhain - I'd rather put Laphroig on a cut than drink it - I'm not that good with the phenols - a shame to my family - my dad was born there - within two miles of the distillery. Enjoy - I.View attachment 63733
