Just wondered if it was kosher as i only found it a few mins before the auction was due to end and didn't have time to Google it.

I collect vintage Razors, i don't get them because of how certain people view them as good or bad, or if they are worth money, i get them if i like the look of them, if it looks nice, i buy it.
if it's an Aristocrat or a Rocket or whatever it is, If it cleans up well and shaves well and you can have it in your collection, then for £10.00 you have a good deal

A rocket is just a english made superspeed. but when you turn the nib to open razor it moves up. quite good razors but as with everthing YMMV

That's good news. I almost didn't bother as I wasn't sure how good the plating was as the picture of the head looks a little dull. I couldn't work out if it is worn or just needs a good polish.

That will clean up lovely, i think just normal razor gunk, if you have one or can borrow one, use an ultrasonic cleaner with with a little fairy liquid in the water, then gently scrub with a kiddies toothbrush and warm water, then just rinse and disinfect..job done, well thats how i clean mine anyway

The Aleppo soap has a strong scent, but the contents of olive oil is also high,...very moisturizing,....but the scent is not for me. I prefer other soaps that are softer.

Don't. It's lousy as a shaving soap, it is even worse as a bath soap, since it is about 40% sodium laurate.
Aleppo soap is a sodium soap made from primarily laurel oil (like coconut oil, only with loads more lauric acid), so it is very degreasing. Not moisturizing at all. Plus, Aleppo soap is stored for at least 6 months before it is deemed 'ready', so it will be dried out, and the longer, unsaturated oils/fatty acids present will have (started to) go(ne) rancid.
That is why it looks so funky, shrunk (dehydration) and discolored (rancid).
