Saturday's shave was with the Frederick Reynolds 13/16 wedge..

Beautiful looking shave Mark can I ask how would you describe the scent on the Cuba it’s one that’s been intriguing me ?

I was hoping I wouldn't get asked that! I'm useless at describing scents and I'm quite new to all these aftershaves and colognes.
I would say its unmistakably C&S so quite deep in a similar vein to No.88. But I have no idea how to describe the 'top notes' etc etc. I really like it and I'm pleased I bought it.

Gave the Gold Dollar a run out in today’s shave not used it for quite some time..had a lovely shave as expected looking forward to taking it back to the hone for a bit more practice on the finisher some time soon. Again neutral with the soap for testing purposes..featuring @BartsBalm sample D as with all of them excellent performance getting towards the end of the scents now 3 more to go then will be deciding in which order they come for me, already know the favourites but don’t always get a true interpretation off the sample bottle until it’s been applied. Been enjoying sampling the various scents and definitely have 2 I would go ahead and purchase if made available ! Feeling wonderfully nourished and super smooth

Had the shave a little earlier and just sat watching the match..again keeping it neutral with the soap for testing purposes..lovely little shave with the Gold dollar and a wonderful performance from the featured @BartsBalm sample A feeling super smooth and refreshed ! Come on England

Well after the Penalty fiasco tonight I'll be boycotting my Cella, Proraso and even my new tub of Extro, at least until the feeling of being robbed has subsided! Fortunately I have other soaps, so it's likely to be OSP for the next wee while. However tonight's shave (before kickoff) was indeed with the Arancia Italiana and football aside it's a lovely soap.

Pre: hot towel and Pears transparent soap
Pre: Proraso Green Pre.
Soap: Extro Cosmesi Arancia Italiana:
Brush: PAA Phantom Aerolite
Razor: Baurmann 5/8 rp fh off balsa and 0.1u diamond
Post: Nivea Men

A funny mix of mint and orange! Face lathering with the big synth loaded with Extro was like being caressed by orange blossoms and cream. The blade, I think I may have taken a bit too keen. It shaved with consummate ease but I felt a little warm afterwards, my skin was smooth with a close result but a tiny bit harsh, and I really don't think I can attribute it to the soap. The next run out will probably be comfier though. The Nivea is lovely and rich, but even so, I felt a little tingle on freshly scraped skin that the Cien Hydro-Age Q10 (Lidl bargain!) never gives. All in all a good result (unlike the footy) but I was perhaps overzealous. I swerved the aftershave, given that I was getting a burn even from the Nivea!

The edge on the John Rawson was a bit harsh after diamond pasted stopping, but after a shave and a normal strop it's now back to its super smooth Sheffield edge. A great shave!
