I got the Karve razor through the BST here, thanks again @Imunro69
In my opinion it is a great preformer and a very good looking brass razor with its significant head design and the classy, straight designed handle. In addition to aesthetics, it comes with a very attractive price tag with its craftsmanship in mind, downside is import fees as it comes from overseas. I get good results with my regular three pass routine each time I grab this razor. I got the 3,5†handle with a C plate. For me this is the perfect handle lenght. The C plate is efficient and relative mild with most blades I have in rotation. Anyway, I keep me eyes open to add a more aggressive baseplate to the arsenal. Perhaps a D or E. Lately Karve introduced E and F plates witch receive a lot of positive response in other forums.
Kind Regards
Marco
Razor: Merkur 34c
Blade: Personna
Pre: Shower including Nivea Face Wash Sensitive
Soap: Executive Shaving Natural cream
Brush: Executive Shaving Medium Jock synthetic
Post: Nivea Post Shave Balm Sensitive
My 3rd DE shave since converting. Still on my first blade.
Just simply....wow.
Took the time to figure out my stubble growth pattern, as recommended by members.
3 passes with a final touch up and I'm BBS.
A little irritation on the lower neck line which was soothed by the Nivea balm, but It's so much more enjoyable than cartridge shaving.
The Nivea products have been lying in my bathroom cupboard for a long time, but now I actually know how to use them properly!
Thanks to everyone for the advice so far.
Now to start experimenting!
