This soap has moved from a "back of the cupboard" loser to a top ten regular. Definitely boosted by the Denim follow-up. Pleasant shave all round.

A most wonderful show from the Extro and it is a good job I have a new jar on standby as there isn't much left to go at in this one. A superb lather and every quality you could wish for. Other than some strange scents in the rest of their range I have never been let down by these Extro.

Once again the trusty Ikon plays its part and once again nothing less than perfection. Stunning. Always is. The blade will probably scrape another shave

So altogether a very happy shave with very smooth and acceptable results minus any collateral.

A delightful shave with my Wickhams Irish fern sample. Not as strong as it was but lovely none the less. The original Hone was as fabulous as ever it worked really well with the Nacet.

SOTD- Tuesday 24/05

Pre: hot shower followed by Cella bio pre shave gel
Razor: Leaf on the dome, Henson AL13+++ (aggressive) on the face and final pass on dome.
Blade: Treet Platinum saloon style blades in Leaf, Henson RK in AL13.
Soap: Noble Otter Neon Sun (face) and Seaforth Spiced Lime (dome)
Brush: Yaqi Rocks and Deep Stones
Post: Proraso Red splash and balm

Second shave with the Cella pre shave gel and it might be psychosomatic but I'm convinced this stuff has massively improved the quality of those shaves for me. So much so I've ordered TGS Dawn of Glory pre shave gel to try as well (marginally more in cost than the Cella but double the amount).

Couldn't decide the two samples which to use but inspiration struck, use one of the face (NO) and one on the dome (Seaforth) - both performed very well but NO seemed a bit weak in scent strength and the Seaforth has too much citrus to be a first choice soap for me (nice though). Several shaves in now with the Henson AL13+++ and this was the best yet, thinking I was using bad habits from the medium and pressing down a bit but this thing just needs the lightest touch. Proraso red picking up the post duties, love the scent and it's always a good bet with a weaker scented soap!
 
The last 10 days....actually!



Sagrada Familia 24mm Tux - Florena/Natural Ireland - Weishi 9306/ Wilkinson Sword/Gillette Winner - Bond Classic AS

10 Days in Angelsey and the same razor for all the shaves. This could be my future with retirement looming. All excellent and simple shaves but I know boredom would eventually set in. so my other razors still have a chance.

As I am still on holiday....the three Bitches in my life get a mention. Mrs C, Seren and Poppy. Each and every one a SWMBO.....so I am the one with the Dog's Life!
