Razor: Stoll Jr. 3D
Blade: GEM PTFE (3)
Post: Cold Water and Men-U

Had a little bit of difficulty gluing this thing together, stupidly trying to use superglue! Got it sorted in the end and gave it a whirl. I was surprised how well it shaves, felt quite mild but I could see it was doing its job. This may be another gateway razor, might have to look at a few vintage lather catchers now!

Decent finish and for the sake of £10 a worthwhile punt. All credit to the creators yet again!

Hope everyone has a grand day!

Cheers

Marc

Razor: Blackland Blackbird
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated, 1st use
Brush: Oumobrush Silvertip In a Handmade Bog Oak Handle
Bowl: 3D Printed Bowl
Preshave: PAA Cube Unscented Soap
Soap: Wickhams Magnum Puck
Aftershave: Jean Paul Gautier Le Male EDT
Balm: L’Oréal barbershop reinforcing aftershave balm
Additional Care: Osma Laboratoires Alum Block

Gave the Blackbird long handle another run and while I still love the shave I get from this razor, I am no closer to finding which handle I prefer. It’s edging toward the short but I need to do a few more shaves to compare. The Wickhams was lovely and cushioning as ever and the blade worked well with the razor. All in all a lovely start to the day!
Enjoy the day and stay safe.

Prep: Face wash with Nivea face wash
Pre: Executive Shaving - Pre shave Oil
Razor: Hone 15 - A
Blade: Personna Med Prep (2)
Brush: RazoRock Barber 24mm
S Soap: E&S Traditionnel - Oasis
Post: E&S Traditionnel - Oasis AS

Still changing the soap on a weekly basis....I'm now trying the E&S Traditionnel Oasis

Very eager to try out one of my recent BST purchases together with this month's razor, the aluminium Hone. Beautiful scent but it wasn't as easy to lather up (face lather). Having said that once lathered it resulted in a very compact lather providing lots of cushioning to the blade.
I don't know about the Hone.....there's something about this razor. It's my second week with it and continues to provide excellent results. However the blades (tried 4 so far) feel as if they've been subjected to a healthy dose of anaesthetic - very numb, lifeless. I know it is a mild razor and I used mild razors before but this one is different. It may be to do with the fact that is aluminium and the slight drag sensation on the skin....don't know.
You may find it in the BST at the end of the month....

Have a great week everyone!

Soap - A&E The Undersea
Brush - Vie Long extra soft synthetic 24mm
Razor - Occam's
Blade - Feather Proguard
A/S - Blue Stratos
A/S Balm - Lea 3 in 1

First ever SE shave and I was keen to see how it went using the Occam's razor.
The unfamiliar larger head design was a bit unwieldy at first but I pretty quickly found the groove and ended up with a really close and comfortable shave. No doubt well assisted by the the A & E Undersea soap which is my current favourite since aquiring it earlier this year. Incredible performance and a great scent makes it a pleasure and joy to use. Topped off with some good old Blue Stratos. Awesome !
I'll give this razor some good use over the coming weeks in order to really get to grips with it. First impressions of the Occams / Proguard overall though are excellent in terms of the result and a little improvement in my driving skills will help to fine tune future shaves with it.

I know exactly what you mean Dan. There was something about the 15a that stopped me gelling with it.

Face wash then Cube - unscented

Soap: Tabac stick

Brush: RR 400 24mm

Razor: Feather R6 #2

Blade: Astra SP #2

Post Shave: Alum block then Tabac ASB

DE Shave #22

I wasn't going to shave today as I went to bed with a scratchy throat and woke feeling groggy with a mildly sore throat but when the Tabac products turned up I couldn't resist....... So glad I did.

So many new experiences but to summarize............Face feels wonderful. :)

Prep: Shower, Palmolive Olive Oil Soap
Soap: Speick Stick
Brush: Yaqi Aqua Beaux Silvertip Premium synthetic
Razor: Merkur 34C HD
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Post: Lord Al Rehab cologne, Baxter's Balm

I'm really beginning to enjoy these lesser-faff shaves in the morning. Great finish from the GSB blade and Speick combo, and the Al Rehab is still hanging around ten hours after this morning's ablutions. Wonderful :giggle:
