My good friend @StrummerShave gave me a wee loan of his Armageddon, sorry Agamemnon. He thought it was somewhat on the assertive side and wanted my opinion.

Well, it’s a beast imho. Light touch, plenty concentration required for a 2 pass BBS. I don’t think this would work as a daily driver; due to its ‘don’t f*ck with me’ attitude. However, I look forward to trying it with a 2-3 day growth (if I can stretch to that level of ill-discipline).

Anyhoo, I paired with a mid range Astra SP; to drive down the risk of hypovolaemia; and used MWF for cushion and glide. Resultantly cue ball smooth.

Don't buy the new type, if I can't sort this one you can have it!
I know the small travel size pucks are still available in the old formula I rang them to enquire about it as I would like to continue using this soap for it’s great scent and performance and asked if they had many left and was told they still have thousands of the small ones left in the old formula just not the bigger ones, the Oxford and Cambridge is still available in the old in both sizes, just thought I would pass on that information if it’s any help

Well, i did use the NOS Gillette for its 9th outing!!
So i gave the "Duke 3" a soak n shake and loaded the wonderfully scented Signature soaps Coria, there is something about this scent i really like, very floral but not too sweet. I did not think i would like floral scents, this is the soap that has me trying more, very nice.
I face lathered again today and the brush did a fine job, holding plenty good stuff for the shave.
I had my Fatboy (thank you @Satanfriendly for allowing me to adopt him, he's a belter!) set to #6 and set about the WTG pass, i was really surprised as blade felt smoother than yesterday? go figure? No issues & no tugging to report.
I dialed the razor down a notch to complete the next 2 passes and although there was an indication it was cutting it still did a fine job on both the XTG & ATG passes. Yes its not as smooth as the first few shaves but definitely not done. I now think it is time to retire it though, so its 9 and out.
Grande performance.
A nice post shave and maybe 1 more dollop in the Gucci.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All

This morning, I reached for my newest, favourite razor the Blackland Vector. It had a couple of days patchy growth to tidy up and it did so very well. A nice BBS shave, although against the grain felt a little rougher, with more blade feel than on previous shaves, but that could be due to the fact that the Feather AC Pro blade was on it’s fourth use.

I know many AC users say they can extend the use of their blades beyond that of DE blades, but I’m not convinced. I think 5 shaves is the maximum I've managed. Nonetheless, it is an excellent razor and so manoeuvrable!

The citrus overload of the software was exceptional too. :)

Stay safe and enjoy your shaves.

How does the scent compare to the SV 70th anniversary Russ ? I read somewhere a while ago that the 2 are very similar in scent

For Me Jay , they are not that similar , for me the Verde is like the Nera but a little more earthy , if that makes any sense at all I am rubbish at scents !

What would you say @Boycie83 as I know you have both 70th and of Course the Verde.

I'd say they're different scents Jay. SV 70th has an Acqua di Gio thing going on. Verde is a green grapefruit vibe with and amber/musky base.
