Day and a half since last shave and started getting withdrawal syndrome .. rather than waiting till morning I decided to have a nice relaxing 3 pass shave with more of a calming scent soap - fresh cotton. I find this soap to release most of the scent when lathered with synthetics rather than boar or badger. Beautiful fresh ‘cosy’ scent - but I might be biased since I really love these kind of scents.

Blade was on its fourth outing and still provided an outstanding performance. Definitely will need to order pack of 100 of them soon just to have some spare. Probably could have took it for another one or two outings but I guess I’m just too eager to try new stuff!

no errors to report this time and dfs+ was achieved. Finished off with bartsbalm ben more.

I’m knackered and ready to go to bed. Have a good night gentlemen!

Wonderful lather from this excellent soap. A beautiful scent + thick creamy & slick lather!
Shave with razor paired with the blade was good. Smooth, comfortable and enjoyable in 3passes without any issues for a mostly bbs finish. Enjoyed the aftershaves too!

An absolute cracker of a shave
The Squadron soap is always a pleasure to use, and I do so sparingly - it was a gift from a fine gentleman member here @TomG

For me, the Hawk V3 is hard to set aside, i seem to favour using it over my DE's simce acquiring it. I sometimes have to remind myself that I have other fine razors in the den.

The 70's Old Spice came to me via ebay, a 67ml bottle with unknown quantity left - which in itself is intriguing
THIS is the smell I remember from my childhood - the stuff on offer now almost shares no resemblance to it at all
Why they stopped making the real Old Spice is beyond me?
