Paragon Shaving Boar - Monsavon Soap - Supply Single Edge V1 (.. Plate)/Personna - Yardley Gentleman Legacy EDP
My first use of the Paragon Shaving RAV boar brush. This one is going to take a little while to break in. There was some shedding and the brush had to be reloaded for each pass. It detracted from what would have been a really excellent shave.
Still finished with a 'Face Feeler' though!

Shower
Pre: Cold water rinse and face wash with the Wickams pre shave soap.
Brush: Simpson Duke 2 Best Badger
Soap: Signature Soap Danum
Razor: Kasho Kai Captain CAP-R7
Blade: Kai Titan Pink (3)
Post shave: Cold water splash ,TC's Infused Witch Hazel
Balm: Barts Balm Cinnamon & Patchouli Balm & Lotion
Aftershave: Signature Soap Danum
This 4 for Feb malarkey is not too much of a hardship really as i am enjoying all the chosen items, there are still plenty of combos to choose from.
Today another run out the the Kai folder matched with the wonderful Signature soap.
The same pre-shave prep as yesterdays shave to complete another cold water episode, my skin is most definitely better for it with the Tradere so i cannot see why the folder should be any different.
The Soap mixed in the bowl with the little "Duke" produced copious amounts of nicely scented chin goodness.
I completed a 2 pass shave routine for a DFS++ finish, i was particularly careful on the top lip after the little nick the other day, guess what, knocked it again! the Nik stick sorted it out quickly.
A nice post shave leaving me soft, comfortable and smelling like a 70's hippy house party - in a good way

Seriously overloaded the brush, but spent some time getting the water ratio right and was rewarded with a delightfully slick lather. Perfect. Delightful, insert your adjective of choice. Loving the OSP splash.

An excellent shave. Undoubtedly the Blackland Blackbird is a special razor, it looks to be an aggressive razor, but at the right angle, made easy by the shape of the top cap, it shaved very smoothly. Two passes gave me a fantastically close shave, for me it is up there with the Rex Ambassador, the Mühle R41 and the Feather AS-D1 (when the angle is spot on), some of my favourite razors. Yes, I really like this razor.
