Have you had or tried the London bridge before? Just wondered about them as never seen then before.
Never - seem to be highly rated by those who have used them though. I was also in danger of dropping under the 5000 blade mark

Btw, the Palmolive Menthol is one of the best shaving creams/soaps at any price.

Where did you purchase those blades from. Are the Gillette Blues a re-issue of the old blade?

I don't think they are a reissue of the old Carbon Steel blade, but a new Stainless Steel variety made in the Gillette's Shanghai plant. They do make a Carbon Steel blade, but it's not on sale in Europe and is supposed to be unusable.
Treet make some excellent CS blades though.

This Lovely brush arrived from the BST
My preorder Henson Ti Medium arrived today and I am very impressed with the build quality.
The increased weight over the aluminium version is noticeable and the addition of a brass post and handle insert are inspired as it screws together smoothly and flawlessly.
The finish can best be described as functional and industrial. It reminds me very much of my v1 machine finished Blackbird in this respect (i.e. the one with pointed corners on the baseplate).
It feels functional and I'm looking to see how well it compares to the aluminium version when I use it for the first time tonight.

'British standard toilet soap' bit harsh?.....just my view. Surely we have some decent soaps?
