1st time using an injector blade in the IBC, it certainly raised the concentration level for me.
I completed my 2 pass shaving routine WTG then a XTG (cheeks)/ATG (neck) mix with a little touch up under the chin and on the Devils whirlpools to finish.
I knew i'd had a close shave and decided on an Alum rub, some indication here and there but nothing really stinging.
Gotta say its a fine BBS result, well happy with that.

On a sad note,
For the Motherships safety and after a big family discussion we have managed to get a placement in a top care home by the sea front (local to most of us) and Mam was agreeable about it, she will have more company as we couldn't visit when she was in her apartment (Covid lockdown rules of her block), leaving her lonely and vulnerable after her fall.
After 2 weeks quarantine she re tested positive today for C-19, which means my 1st visit with her today has been cancelled, we are in discussions with the home as she tested negative to gain the placement and it could be a false positive as she has already got through this once. It must be so hard for her.
Fingers crossed.

The first outing of the LPL. Quite surprising (although not completely; having read Iain @Digimonkey ‘s recent post using a similar soap)...

It certainly didn't provide a voluminous lather. It also took about 40-50 gentle swirls to get enough to start (30-40 usually). The resulting lather was very...close and tight, if that makes sense; like a thick covering of emulsion paint. The scent wasn't quite as pronounced compared to sniffing from the tin.

But, crucially, did it perform? Yes, undoubtedly. Close and tight lather for the first pass; similar for the second; and a nice, slick film for the third, which is exactly what I look for. It provided plenty protection from this razor, which can be a bastard if you don't follow the adage of letting it take the weight etc.

The soap has also left a lovely post-shave feel; complimented by the MM splash. I look forward to giving it a few more tries before the jury returns; but positive thus far.

Excellent soap! Thick creamy and slick with a really nice pleasant scent.
Shave with razor paired with the blade was ok to smooth and comfortable for 3passes without any issues for a between bbs to dfs/ccs result. Excellent post & aftershaves. Rating 9.5/10

Don't even go down the, 'are you the second coming?' road. I've been around for 60 years so someone might have cottoned on earlier. And what, with a name like Satanfriendly?

Away from my usual loose prattle I just want to say that despite 2020 being a bit of a dark and odd year at best, you great chaps have managed to add some light in to our little world. In the middle of a pandemic and questionable world politics you have managed to hang on to some sense of sanity in this quiet little corner of the Internet. You have provided a lovely little haven where one can stick up ones feet, relax and enjoy the company of you great forum folk. To that extent I wish you all, your families and friends a most Happy Christmas. And keep it all up for a 'Let's make 2021 a better year'
