hey peeps can i please have some shaving mugs recommendations? thanks
No a Scuttle has a chamber that holds hot water in order to keep the brush/lather warm , A Mug is just that you can fillit with water to soak your brush or mix up some lather in it, a shaving bowl can be easier for that.noob question is a shaving mug and a shaving scuttle the same thing?
so in your opinion and experience whats best to go for?No a Scuttle has a chamber that holds hot water in order to keep the brush/lather warm , A Mug is just that you can fillit with water to soak your brush or mix up some lather in it, a shaving bowl can be easier for that.

Depends what function you want it to perform really.so in your opinion and experience whats best to go for?
That type of scuttle yes is for a puck , the type @Boycie83 showed you doesn't have holes so you can mix lather in it.so i'm watching this video by geofatboy on youtube (i've learnt a lot on his vids i like them)
another noob question, so do you essentially need to use a shaving soap/puke with the scuttles? because he puts it on the top of the scuttle
