hey peeps, so although im not new to de razors i havent actually spend a decent amount on one, theyre just cheap ones i've got,
anyways i've got £10 promo code on amazon for items that are 'dispatched and sold by amazon',
so i might get another de razor, i've seen this one its a muhle rytmo 3 piece set,
its currently £45.83 from £77.00 plus with the promo code i'll get it for £35.83 which seems like a bargain to me,
but i have not real experience of the more better de razors,
so my question should i go for it? heres the link...

i love the look of it and its a set, so i do need a nice sort of stand but ive already ordered a qshave razor the other day which will be here this weekend which comes with a stand too

so is it worth £35 odd quid or should i go for something else and use the promo code on something else?

decisions, decisions, decisions, help me out lol

Great price and the R89 head is all the razor you really need, even better the Muhle head has a brass thread so should prove more durable than the Edwin Jagger facsimile. Muhle's finishing is second to none and as they say in this quarters magazine, the natural angle for a razor to shave at is 30 degrees, which the R89 does...

That's a great deal, in fact if the brush was synthetic I'd probably buy it and give it to the kids to wrap up for me as a Christmas present!

Is the Q-Shave the Futur clone? Be interested to hear how you get on with that. I got the Ming Shi version, which is probably the Q-Shave under a different name, I didn't like it tbh, found the head a bit unwieldy for under the nose and also quite unbalanced which led to me taking a big chunk out of my face, so I'm a bit scared of it...

I should give it another go really, I've learned a lot since consigning it to the back of the man drawer.

Get it even cheaper if you use SS ( thats if you can use the promo code with SS ) just remember to cancel after a few months

thanks for the heads up mate, so what is this considered as a mild or aggressive razor?

As written before. The Muhle 89 is one of the best all round heads you could ever wish for. Everything right and nothing wrong. A real 'bread and butter' razor.

Good price for the whole set including a brush and stand

sounds like its good from the responses ive got so far

so you think because its a badger brush too its even more worth it?

yea thats the one mate futur clone, i got it on amazon off the top of my head about 20 odd quid with the razor stand and leather cover, cracking price if you ask me and thats delivered...

i did see that ming shi on ebay was tempted to go with it until i saw the qshave online

yea give it a go again, how aggressive did you adjust the blade too on the ming shi mate?

Nah, I just don't get on with badger, so I stick with synthetic brushes, apart from a brief flirtation with a big boar which was OK but didn't really do anything that my synths weren't already doing.

I went right through the range, but iirc when it bit me I only had it on 3 having dialled it back because I was still learning. It was my fault, I just hadn't learned properly how it was balanced and sort of dropped it onto my face. Clumsiness really.
