Don't remind me! We will be locking ourselves into the back of the house this evening and pretending we are not in. Chrissie really freaks out with masks and there are too many older teenagers jumping on the band wagon just to make some money. They can be quite intimidating.
I agree, it's like legalised mugging! :) P.

Soap - Palmolive Menthol Cream
Brush - Zenith Euro X
Razor - Fat Handle Tech
Blade - Permasharp SS (8)
Post - Witch Hazel
Balm - Nivea Cool Kick
AS - Benjamins Bay Rum Mentholated

I seem to have a few preconceptions with shaving that I've picked up along the way one of them being creams work better with synths rather than with a boar brush, but in today's shave the combination of Palmolive Menthol and boar worked delightfully well, possibly better than with a synth brush. Needed a menthol kick this morning as well, did a bit of midweek drinking last and wasn't quite at the races, the menthol worked well!
Superb combination of blade and razor, I'm of the mindset the Permasharp SS takes a few shaves to get to it's best and today's 8th shave with the blade was truly superb, it's much smoother now.

Anyway chaps, have a good Halloween.

Soap: Signature Soaps Hibernia
Razor: OneBlade Core/Feather FHS-10
Brush: Razorock 400 synth
A/S: Nivea 2 Phase
Balm: Bart's Amber & Moroccan Jasmine

I'm off work today, struck down by man flu, so was in for my Postie to hand over a package from the former Colonies.

Inside was my bargain OneBlade Core, so having bugger all else to do other than watch daytime tv and YouTube I decided to take it for a spin...

So I whipped up a lovely citrussy Hibernia lather with the Razorock (a kind gift etc etc etc enabler in chief @Satanfriendly), inserted a blade and set about mowing my face.

This razor scores a big fat zero on the Rob998 Aggressiveness Scale of Blade Feel. I honestly was barely aware of its presence.

However, 3 passes later, not a trace of stubble remained. When I applied the A/S I got absolutely no sting, nothing, which is a first for me.

Just goes to show how a sharp blade in a mild razor can still do the job.

A little bit of Bart's Amber and Moroccan Jasmine, which is a great and reasonably long lasting scent, to finish off a really quite enjoyable shave.
