Post/After-shave: T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10), Lavender (15) & Peppermint (10 drops)

The battered, tatty box is deceiving as it contains a very nice, fantastic condition USA ER 1912.
A nice 2 pass shave with a bit buffing on the devils whirlpools on the neck under the jaw line. The blade showing no signs of giving up.
A DFS+ comfortable result again.
I really enjoy these vintage ladies and the audio feedback always leaves me smiling.

I'd been neglecting the Feather for a while, so out it came this afternoon. Two passes (with and against, with some buffing in chin land) and a very acceptable finish. Not too much complaining from the alum. Smooth and smelling great.

Impressive performance from the soap which lathers easily, has excellent slickness and produced a lovely shave.

A Birthday shave today, however, although i have some new Razors/soap to try i am sticking with my planned routine and today it is the Heavy Flat Top SE. After all its just another day.
A very nice 2 pass shave for a DFS+ finish
I may get around to the new stuff soon, these include
a Feather AC SS Kamisori
a Gamechanger open comb 0.84
a Supply custom SE
MWF soap
2 scent types of Arran Soaps, with matching Balms and Aftershaves's
A new tub of Tabac with matching Balm, Aftershave and Cologne.
Now, the problem with this is at 57 and my already vast arsenal of hardware and software i think i will be long gone before i get to finish any of it.

The second Gillette Platinum from the pack seems less smooth as the one before, I noticed some of the glue spots had run onto the edges and maybe that's why? Nonetheless a really superb shave today, the lather was truly delightful. Not sure if there's means to quantify my observation but I seem to have more success with Tabac with this particular Zenith boar brush, a very scrubby boar brush with a lot of backbone.
