I might have thought the USA?

Prize for dumb immigration this year has to go to Goole where someone had scrawled on a wall 'Brexit and stop illegal migration'. I didn't know people were queuing up to get out.

I think they might well be...

Go on then...

A country - I define country - as do the United Nations - one with a seat on the General Council of the aforementioned body - the immigration rate is 100% - yours - I.

This evening I made a great purchase from a forum member who it transpires lives nearby and as pure chance would have it, is in the same line of work as me. A great guy.

The GGR's Highland Bothy was a firm favourite of mine when I was lucky enough to get my hands of the Newbie Pass Around Box many moons ago, so I actually delayed shaving this evening until I had it in my den!

Earlier today I also bought a bar of Castelbel Porto Triple-Milled Soap from Tinky-Max as it was a reasonable price and I saw it contained Goat's Milk which I've read a lot of positives about recently.

The soap was pleasant enough though I think it dried my skin out. I painted on the lather and it seemed to break down the lather too. The lather I know is much better than it seemed tonight.

My trusty Merkur 34C has been on a journey recently and came back to me yesterday. Arming it with another kind gift from the seller - a Shark Blade, it performed faultlessly.

3 passes without incident and a great BBS finish. After my final rinse, the slickness from the lather was embarrassingly good.

This was also my first use of a boat brush. The Omega 49 has good backbone but I'll need to learn just how much water it can hold, even after a good shake and squeeze. It's great against the skin.

An overall enjoyable shave this evening. No irritation or mishaps.

Have a great weekend folks. [emoji1303]

Greetings,

Another wonderfully relaxing Williams Superlather sunday shave.

Last weekend i gave my humble razor collection a sprucing up with hot water, dettol anti-baterial soap & a tooth brush.

After putting them back in my shaving arsenal it accured to me i hadn't added some of them to my razor rotation for a long time...So the next few weeks i'm going to start adding hardware & software to my SOTD set ups that hardly gave any attention to.Starting with the weishi adj ,and the treet 7 day platinum blades, both items i've only used on a few occasions. I forgot how smooth and sharp the treet 7 days blades are,They matched up with the weishi adj wonderfully making a efficient smooth duo..The characteristics of them are very similar the Astra SP blade in sharpness, with a slightly sharper edge ,which can be a little rough on the first pass, but after that they mellow out...As always DE blade opinions are very subjective....I also have some Trig blades another blade i haven't used for sometime both the 7 days platinum & Trig blades are from the Treet factory manufactured in Pakistan.

My skin type seems to like indian & pakistan made blades, and haven't yet had problems with intermittent quality problems with both,as always ymmv.

A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Arko ~ Comfort A/S Balm.

My face is feeling invigoratingly cool, smooth & smelling devine.;)
;)

Enjoy your Sunday Ladies & Gentlemen.

I have been chasing a Cobra ever since I had a loan of @Digimonkey's a couple of years ago. Blimey, it's just as efficient as I remember. Two passes for as smooth as I can possibly be. Exceptional. Enjoy your Sunday chaps.

Sotd - last Thursday -

Excellent - back in Laconic mode - it should be capitalised? Like 'Delphic' or 'beyond the Pale.' Enjoy your shaves - even if you are not a pedant - like me. Yours - I.

Oh - the most interesting thing I learned last week - do you know - without searching online - the country in the world that has the highest rate of immigration?

Given the number of migrant workers there, I would imagine it is Saudi Arabia ?

Still shaving with this fabulous razor so I will be able to give a informed review about it , although I don't think this razor has a lot more to tell me but it seems any review would just not be credible unless a fixed number of shaves had been obtained.
One week, two, I don't know, Please let me know :)

Another super smooth shave from the Cx leaving me with a BBS finnish and feeling super happy I brought this razor .

Wishing you all a great Sunday..........P.
