What is it with the peaty malts?
In no particular order (except for the first which are joint first)
Lagavulin and Laphroaig
Ardbeg
Jura
Talisker
Glenfiddich
Snow Grouse
Struh Rum (guid stuff but will knock yer socks aff)!!!

I like Whisky's with a long finish.

Woods Navy Rum
Some of the strong Chinese spirits ( 52%+) the ones flavoured with rose water
Ice cold vodka
Brandy
Tequila
If it is strong or very strong I will like it.

Greetings
I like all the Islay malts but I think Lagavulin stands out way ahead of all the others and I also feel the ordinary 16yr old bottling is the best of all. Ardbeg is my least favourite Islay malt.
My favourite non Islay is Cragganmore, having said all of that my routine evening tipple is good old Bells cooking whiskey and I drink it with Soda, I suppose that is really old fashioned; my son and daughter tell me it is but I can't see myself changing to Vodka and Red Bull in the immediate future!
