Cheers irh77.

I've taken some nice pics but I'll hold off posting them till Rob has seen it.

I've just unpacked the razor and, in a word - stunning. Everything shouts class, from the clean lines of the blade through to the finishing and peening of the scales.

Thanks for this beautiful piece Mike - I'm sure your photos would be better than mine so please post them.

Oh I'm so glad you like it Rob! The advice and encouragement you and others on this forum have given me has played a huge part in getting me to this stage.

I'll post some pictures in a bit :)

The specs....

Blade: 7/8ths" wide 2.5" long - quarter hollow grind - carbon steel
Scales: African blackwood
Spacer: Giraffe bone
Pins/washers: Brass

Honed up to 12000 grit then stropped on chromium oxide and finished on plain leather.

Simply gorgeous...you'd be out your mind if you weren't proud to be the owner, clearly Mike's put his heart and soul into making that, more than likely given a little blood too.
