The workshop

Well it's been a few weeks and I've been at work a lot but have made progress.
The floor is laid, door is on, electrics mostly done, fascias and soffits mostly done and I've moved some gear in.
Still need to make a bench, fit more sockets, fit the fascia end trims, fit guttering, fix the skirting boards and get some storage in.
Hoping to get the lathe and mill up and running for next week.
I'm over budget by about £600 but it's well worth it.

Awesome! It's looks fantastic!

Brilliant. Great job.
You do realise you are likely to have a lot of back orders soon, and that room is going to get a workout?
Suspect a fair few are waiting for a famous templ8 handle. I know I love mine.

I was thinking, simply, of a fatter version of this Valet VC handle, perhaps a little longer ...

... there's always Streamline style handles. I have a late 1912 with a lightweight aluminium round handle. The roundness changes the shaving character somewhat.

Well it's been a while but apart from guttering I'm all finished !
