The Month of Movember is upon us!

Just a quick tip: a slathering of hair conditioner allowed to soak in for a min then rinsed off really takes the edge of the crazy itching.

Anyone else suffering from random bits of food stuck in the damned thing?

Day 13, and after my usual No1 buzzcut, my 'tache is longer than my hair!!

I haven't shaved nor enjoyed a haircut yet this month. It saves a fair bit of bathroom time in the mornings though.

I was just going to grow the 'tache but my daughter told me it needed to be the full set or I'd look like a German porn star!

...frankly it feels f***ing awful. I look as though I ought to be a Liberal or working in the public sector or (worse still) a Guardian reader.

Maguires is going to get some business on 01 December!!!!

Intense scrutiny of the rules reveals that the tash can neither be connected to the chin nor the sideburns. Items 3 and 4 in the rules I think.

It's not overly obvious in that photo, (the startled look is due to mrs pirate sneaking up on me with her camera), but I have chin fluff and under nose fluff but no connecting fluff. Also I hadnt shaved the rest of my face, it was Sunday.

This fluff is wiry. It picks up cat hair like Velcro does. interestingly enough mrs pirate likes the look. Though I do note that her kisses now land with a great deal of precision in order to avoid the stubbly bits.

Being threatened with having a pace-stick rammed through my ear 'oles and being ridden round the camp like a 'shagging' motor bike always made me chuckle . . . on the inside.

Crack on, my owd.
 
Two weeks down and there is a definite "Tache" going on here!
It really is irritating though guys, I am looking forward to December to get rid of this hair but in the mean time its staying!
 
Well it's the half-way point chaps and it looks like there is some sterling moustache cultivation going on. Here's me earlier today.
