Thanks for the reply and for sending it out to me. The performance is very good indeed, and I enjoy the scent, but my poor record for reacting to shaving soaps continues. The last 3 things I have tried have all lead to unfavorable reactions.

This is the one I am the most dismayed by, as the scent is quite close to the Brut Oceans splash which I use on a regular basis, but sadly it doesn't seem to like my face. :(

Wednesday 8 Sep 2021 - last time I posted a SOTD was just before the spring clock change, and it's nearly time to put them back (ok, end of Oct).
TBH, I was suffering from forum fatigue, but still keep on shaving!
Late evening shave - two pass shave with the ALDI cartridge shaver - very good shave(y).

Prep: Nuage Shave Oil
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow 26mm
Razor: ALDI cartridge
Blade: ALDI cartridge
Soap: Proraso Aloe (blue box) - almost finished
After: Cold Water splash - allum block

Probably 3 or 4 more shaves left out of that sample - then going to continue on with a different sample - just to slowly reduce the collection that’s laying around! So many nice scents but having a good handful of samples it’s about time I use them!
tech got its stage to shine today. Great 2 pass shave for DFS finish. Not quite bbs in places but in all honesty for my skill level and my facial hair - this level of mild razor is probably making it impossible to get BBS in couple passes.

good shave, no weepers. For the past month and a bit I was using more aggressive razors - so using a tech now felt again as if the razor is just dancing all around on my face. Very mild but gets the job done! No stinging from the aftershave either!

Beautifully scented soap with excellent creamy and slick lather...
The shave with this razor paired with the blade and a shim was acceptable...3passes for a dfs result and 2 weepers. Blade chatter is much reduced with the shim but not entirely gone...aftershaves were great.

Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Edwin Jagger Limes & Pomegranate Shaving Cream./Osmanli Lemon Eau De Cologne./Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

Finishing my shaving week of with another pleasurable shave with the (US) ER 1912...These vintage SE razors are such great shavers.

A Enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine.;)
