Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears with Mint Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia 24mm Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Tabac Original Shaving soap. (Tallow Version)
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium. (D2)
Razor: Yintal 9036-I TTO.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care + Witch Hazel./Superdrug Forest Fresh ASL./Nivea Men Body shaving Anti-Irritation ASB.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

A wonderful performance from the Chinese Gillette super speed clone & Polsilver Super Iridium duo...I've forgot how smooth and efficient Polisilver are.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Body shaving Anti-Irritation ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Return of the big 48 and I had a decent two pass shave with sufficient lather in the brush for two passes and less fade between passes. Not, I think, due to the three day soaking in cold water, but, probably, the fact that I have changed my loading technique for this brush. Either way, a good result.
 
I am 6ft 3". When I was around 20 I dated a girl who was just over 6ft 4". Walking in to a pub one evening one of the clientèle looked over and blurted, 'Fucking Hell, it's the invasion of the big bastards!'

So my final shave for the last week of SOTD's, grab the biggest razor in the box, accompany it with my biggest brush and hey, voila ici, a shave themed, 'The invasion of the big bastards'

Being as I was then engaged to a girl who came in at 4ft 10", this shave hence utilises the smallest bunch in my Pandoras box of shaving wonderments

'You lied'



Small accoutrements, big results and big grin value. The Excalibur? Some people seem to miss the trick with this one. A small razor which is essentially a blade on a stick. Craply made, as light as they come, stick it on a decent weighty handle and a razor recipe for a disaster. But it doesn't happen. Buttery smooth and perfection from beginning to end. A brilliant piece of shite.

Nice to use the ADP soap once again and if it isn't one of the best soaps on planet shave then I ain't short. And I'm not.

Have smashing bank holiday you amazing people and I love you all.

May be I am not short, but apparently love is.......

Another budget cream that punches above its price, today it whipped up plenty of slick, lather for my shave
I completed my 2 pass straight routine then a buffing pass for pick ups, i only go ATG on the neck and throat.
This razor is a funny one for me, the edge does not feel as smooth as my other Str8 razors, however, it passes the HHT and does a fine job on the whiskers, its something i cannot put my finger on, i am wondering if its the 5/8th blade which is my smallest and maybe my angle is just not there, saying that it could all be in my head as i am BBS and comfortable, finishing with a nice post shave routine and only a fleeting bit of indication from the splash.
Back down my brothers today to finish of the last bit of fencing today.

I managed two shaves this morning, :unsure:, but one was my normal shave and the other to my Ilex standard bushes. The latter was more of a buzz cut to be honest.
First the Ilex
Razor, Bosch electric Lithium
Blade, Bosch wide span fingers
Pre shave, on blade WD 40 professional silicone spray
post, wire brush and WD 40

The secret with this “razor” is not to get it anywhere near the parts of the body not involved in the shave. I made the mistake once but never again as nearly lost the top of my thumb :eek:
Result was never bbs but perfectly acceptable, the bush not my thumb, keep up at the back there :ROFLMAO:

Earlier I had my shave of the day,
Razor, Gillette slim, 1966 L1 set on 6.
Blade, Gillette 7o’clock second use
Soap, Summer Fig

Result pretty much bbs in one pass. A very light atg pass and minor pick ups for a definitive bbs result.
Any of you fellas not tried the slim razor you really must it’s pretty amazing.
