Another super close shave with the Vector. Last use of the Imperial Rum, I love the scent of this soap, but, I don’t like it’s tendency to produce a rather thin but slick lather. There are soaps available, which can produce a far superior lather with my hard water.

While waiting for a new head for the EVO, just had to try the alternative blade to the FPro- the Feather Proguard. Was very effective from the off, and I had no problems getting a quick Shave with a Top Notch finish. I have found that in some Razors a guarded blade can slow a Shave down. Only drawback for many is the cost of the blades.

* I don’t use this soap very often but little required for ample lather. The large tin makes the price reasonable compared to competitors.

** I imported a Tradere last year and 2 days after it arrived my neighbour gave me another with no memory how it came into his possession! It’s an early version before production changed hands but shaves no different from my late model. One of the few American exotics I have with a decent sized handle.

My first shave with this Raster V3 razor today.
It quickly became apparent that the rear corners of the blade ever so slightly protrude from the head. This wasn't a problem at all, as it's only a tiny over-hang.
First impression is that it's better made than the V1, (the blade posts are more defined, and no plating sputter to be seen around them).
It shaves smoother than the V1 too, and seems to be quite well suited to the 80mm Bulldog handle.
For around £7 including postage it's quite the bargain.
