I'm going posh for the next shave, selecting only the finest "ingredients." The Martin De Candre soap is astonishingly brilliant. We all know it's expensive but entirely worth it in my view, in terms of scent and lather. Bergamot, limes and all manner of French freshness!

Razor: Feather ASD2
Blade: Feather (2)
Soap: Martin De Candre Agrumes
Brush: Simpsons The Duke 3 BB
Pre-shave: PAA Cube
Post-shave: TBD
Bowl: Face lather

Today’s rasp:

RR Mamba Radio Knob
Gillette 7 o’Clock Black
Simpsons Commodore X3
Hampshire Lanolin No.3 SS
Taylor’s Tobacco Leaf AS
Astral Cream

Absolutely love the handle on this razor but it’s an average shaver at best in these hands. Time to move it on.

The soap is is definitely one of the best I’ve ever used on first impressions. Further exploration necessary…

After three weeks away visiting family using a restricted kit of:
Wilkinson boar brush,
Proraso Green Soap,
Leaf twig,
GSB blades,
One of the 17 tubes of Baxter's balm I bought

I'm now back at home and decided to pick up the following for my shave:

Stirling Glacial Mageritas in the Arctic
Yaqi Lucky Dice
Leaf for head
Leaf Twig for face
BIC Chrome Platinum ( two in the Leaf, one in the Twig)
Proraso Green aftershave for face
Alcolado Glacial for the head
Stirling Glacial Unscented balm for both.

Lovely shave today. Weather here in London much warmer than I had in the west of Ireland for the last three weeks. Cool, clean and as stubble free as a cue ball.

Have a lovely day, S.

Ganders Goat Soap w/Hop, Sage & Birch
Tabac Original (Vintage) Shaving Soap
VieLong American Style w/Haryali Synthetic 20mm
Yaqi AC (AKA Raster) w/Red Horseman Swing Handle
Feather Professional (3)
Tabac Original (Vintage) Aftershave

Pretty much a carbon copy of yesterday's shave with the vintage Old Spice gear ...

I've listed my Tabac Original as vintage as it is artistically the generation prior to that which is currently on the market and now that there has been a formula change, most definitely belongs to an era now gone. It's vintage. Yes? No? Sure as bears doing their business in woods will be in a decade.

Another super shave with the Yaqi AC which I can now see is (when lined up against the Razorock Hawk) a very nimble bit of kit!

Enjoying a beer now ... Prost!

2 pass shave( WTG / ATG) today with the new Gamechanger razor as a 3 pass shave yesterday proved too much for my skin. Excellent result . BBS / face feeler helped in part by the excellent soap. The AS was really good too- scent didn't last but great skin conditioning.
