A great first pass lather but it was rather thin on the second pass this morning. The shave itself was good and close but a slight sting from the Floïd was probably the result of the thin lather. A different soap and razor tomorrow.
 
Tuesday 22 August
Razorock Hawk V2, satin finish, aluminium and very light weight compared with the stainless V3.
Nevertheless, it is a very comfortable and easy razor to use. Schick proline B-30 on its 6th use Still performing very well. Slight drop in efficiency but no tugging. I’m wondering if this blade’s performance will just continue to slowly fade or suddenly drop like a stone.
I had a puck of Saponificio Cosmo given to me by a friend which I used. It was creamy, scented ok and gave a lasting lather. Still some left to try again tomorrow.
2 passes and pick ups again for bbs finish followed by a dash of Desert Vetiver after shave. Great start to the day.

I'm enjoying the slant this week. As I'm learning how it works I swapped to an old favourite of a blade today (so the razor is the only unknown element of the shave now). Brilliant 2 pass shave. Definitely a step up on the last few days, but I guess that could be the blade or it could be me getting more accustomed to the Fatip..

The 7OC blade was a laser today. No whisker stood a chance. A little cluster of weepers, though, and my face is very well aware it was close to a sharp blade today. Not bad, but something I've noticed when using blades known for their sharpness. I think I'll move this blade to one of my milder razors tomorrow. BBS+

Loved the lime soap and the lime cologne.

3 days in and I think I’ve come to the conclusion the Henson +++ is a little too much for me! It’s a smooth as silk but a little too close in all the wrong places for my baby face! It’ll be listed along with my Vector and a few others tonight.
