Not the best of shaves, the E3 bit me four times, nothing major but still not up to my usual standards, probably down to user error, anyhow apart from the four little cuts I am smooth and smelling great!

Easter in Venice...

Soap - Palmolive stick grated into a ramekin
Brush - Omega 'Mixed Midget' bodger
Face lather
Razor - Gillette Blue 2 disposable
Post - Proraso White a/s lotion

Lovely shave with my standard travel kit. Hand luggage, so no sharps. But the disposables did the trick. I reckon, within reason, you can get a dfs with most hardware if the prep's good.

@Blademonkey, you should see the brushes over here, some killer Omegas and those most alluring SV fellows...

Love this soap and post combination. Made for a great start to the day. First use of a Gillette Wilkinson Sword in my Gibbs razor, not bad but not the best blade I have used in it. ​

Pre- Hot shower, Nivea face scrub, Saponifico Varesino Felce Aromatica bath soap and L'Oreal charcoal face wash
Razor: (Pass around) Schick adjustable
Razor blade: Chinese Schick
Brush: Saponifico Varesino
Soap:.Saponifico Varesino Limited Edition Felce Aromatica
Post: Thayers witch hazel and Myrsol Emulsion

First time using an Injector razor and an adjustable too.
Excellent shave. Started off on setting 5 on the first pass. It took a reasonable amount off. Moved up to 7 but thought it was a bit much. Tried setting 6 but settled on 5.
Three passes and the fourth was just touch ups. No weepers, no irritation and a very smooth comfortable shave.

The limited edition Saponifico Varesino Felce Aromatica was excellent on all counts. Wonderful protective lather and very good slickness. @ChrisVanMeer

Oh and the brush was a shear joy to use. Have I ever mentioned how much I adore this brush? No?

I Had the Most Wonderful Shave this Morning with my CV. Heljestrand Lather Catcher & Hollow Ground Blade..This Swedish work of Art is One Darn Luxurious Shaver Indeed..I Just Finished this Hollow Ground Blade on My Escher Thuri.. It has a Killer Edge But as Smooth a Butter Knife on the Face..I have the Most Perfect all Over Every Darn Direction BBS Result & My Skin is Velvety Smooth..;)

I Am Dolphin Smooth & Refreshed..:D

Saturday's shave :)

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Wright's Coal Tar Soap and Village Barbour Shave Oil.
Razor - Hone 15.
Blade - Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow (day 3).
Soap - Executive Shaving - Proraso Green Classic Shave Cream.
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 - Best Badger.
Post shave - Myrsol "Metilsol" Astringent After Shave followed by L'Occtitane Cedrat After Shave Cream Gel.

Another great shave with the Hone 15, no rush, enjoyable start to the weekend.

This evening's use again with my recently acquired Gem Junior !
Same procedure as yesterday morning :
Pre - Hot Shower
Cream - Cella Cream da Barba Almond
Brush - Muhle Sophist Silvertip Fibre
Razor - Gem Junior
Blade - Gem Stainless on 6th use
Aftershave - Chanel Allure Homme
EDT - Chanel Allure Homme
This gave me a DFS almost BBS but as the blade was now on its 6th excursion was starting to tug a bit and not as smooth as yesterday.
Overall, very happy with the Gem razor and blade combination !
