Brilliant idea. I already messaged her when I first bought it saying how popular it is amongst us on here, so she will at least be aware we exist and are generating good publicity for her soaps. If she agrees to do a bay rum I'm in. Or another scent to be agreed, potentially.

I have only used NO1 up until now, lasted well and performed brilliantly compared to everything else I have used. I'll try the others and see how they get on

FFS, the tallow funk is a sign of the good stuff!

I couldn't really detect much of it in the one I used, but I wouldn't be put off by it if it did! It's a glorious lather! I think it's somewhere between The Fat and OSP. IMO, if it came in a plastic tub and had some fancy artwork it'd be much more highly regarded.

I'm gutted it didn't work for me @donnie_arko . Ironically I'm currently bemoaning my Tabac replacement (new formula) which loses most of that which was good in the tallow. I think for me it's more specifically a lanolin issue - I had reactions to wool clothing when very young so who knows?!

I'd be intrigued in whether she'd be able to make up a TSR special. There's almost no chance in getting everyone to agree on one scent, but as I'm going first I'd suggest Bay Rum!

An almond scent would also be good to see.

Yeah blocks of marzipan smell nice but the slickness is very lacking and the post shave feel is hardcore. Plus you get followed by sniffer dogs!

You mean more like Cella or not quite so Bakewell tarty?

Klar used to and maybe still do a shave soap with just the right amount of almond scent.
A Bakewell tart would be just too much!

@pjgh I've never seen blades from this factory before, I presume the Kleen Shave are standard SS ones (the cheaper ones at 18INR) whilst the Pro 500 are platinum coated ones (20 INR). I'd expect the latter ones to be the sharper of the two.
