Gillette Superspeed
Gillette 7 o clock yellow
TOBS sensitive shave cream
Wilkinson sword brush
Alum
Nivea ASB

Quite a smooth shave with no irritation. Not that close and my chin took a while and abit of blade buffing to get it smooth.
Was going to go for another shave with the feather but it was abit rough on the last one so didnt want to chance it.

Re: Shave of the Day, w/c Saturday 13 February 2010

Wednesday

Lord Tech
Lord Super Chrome
Styptic Pencil
AND THEN
Muhle R41 OC
Derby Extra (4)
Semogue 1305
TabacSS

Old SpiceAS
Nivea ASB

What a start to the day!! Lord Tech/Lord SC was a bit of a struggle (also inflicting two nicks  ) so, from the second pass, it was the marvellous Muhle to do and finish the job properly.

The Lord combo has previously been good for me previously so we'll swap the blade into the Muhle for tomorrow and see what that brings.

Got there in the end I suppose and that's what counts.

:?

EDIT: Avatar disappeared, new one to load tonight.

Re: Shave of the Day, w/c Saturday 13 February 2010

Wednesday

Superdrug pre-shave splash
Vulfix 404 bodger
Tabac SS
Merkur 41 oc (with 2 shims  )
Gillette Bleu (4)
Alum block
Nivea Cool Kick AB
Pinaud Clubman AS

Never before put 2 shims in the 1904 but hey I was going for 4 shaves out of the bleu ( I normally bin them after 2), whipped up some luvly :D tabac and preceded to do battle, I have very harsh stubble and can grow a beard in a week. After a 4 pass shave wtg 2xxtg and atg the stubble was beaten into submission and a DFS was had. Two things I learnt today, don't double shim a 1904 oc its way too aggressive and to change blades after 2 shaves.

Thank you gents and have a nice day.

Wednesday Night

EJ 87 + Gillette Super Thin (Thai)
Vulfix 404 Boarger
Mugo Real cream
Proraso balm
Trumper's Spanish Leather cologne

Shit day; great shave. I found the Super Thin to be a nice, smooth blade. And the 404 mix did an excellent job whipping up a lovely, slick lather. Hmmm...I think I'm finally beginning to like this brush, even though it sheds 2-3 hairs on each use (is that typical?).

Thanks to Dridiot for the blades -- nice chap.
