No wonder supermarkets are doing so well and people get trollied at home. We need a right good shake up I was in Tenerife two weeks ago beer there 1 Euro a pint. We want our heads looking at here.

If beer wasn't taxed the powers that be would find someting else to tax but I agree it is a bit much. P. Mind you, the beer in the supermarket is taxed so it must be down to wages, ect that makes it so expensive in London.

I used to go to Wetherspoons for a cheap pint but their prices have soared recently too. I have stopped drinking at home as it is a slippery slope which I have been on before but I can't go out without spending serious dough these days, and I moan at a tenner for soap at least it lasts longer than a pint.
