Today was another good Shave, with what I think is an extremely good value AC/SE. I prefer the V3 with an A plate rather. than the OC version, as I find it more forgiving and delivers a great Shave without any fuss.

If I recall correctly.......it can use 1/2 DE and Injector Blades as well? I had the instructions in my pocket and they didn't survive a wash

Never tried a half blade in it.
Magnets and thumb-bolt should hold them in place securely though.

I know! I know! Little late to the Super Shave X party, but I do have to comment that these blades are inded super-smooth! Seriously smooth! I'd have to do a side-by-side by it's right up there with Treet 7 Days Platinum, which I'd wager is a tag sharper as well. Most definitely a 10/10 shave.

All good. How much more Tabac? None more - I don't own the matching balm - so - none more. A classic for a reason - in my opinion. If you choose to use non-animal soaps - the Tabac cream - in the tube, is vegetarian - I believe - and if anything the scent is stronger. Have excellent shaves - yours - I.

Pre-shave: Cold water splash.
Soap: Arko Shaving Stick.
Brush: Muhle Silvertip Fiber.
Razor: Blackland Tradere - OC.
Blade: Astra SP (Green) (Day 1).
Post: Cold water splash - Pitralon, Hellenic Aloe Vera Gel, and Edinburgh Natural Skin Care - Symmetry serum.




A green themed shave today - I wanted to see how a milder blade (I appreciate YMMV) would work in the Blackland Tradre - loaded up with the Astra SP and also decided to finish off with the Pitralon Classic.

A very plesant 2 pass shave DFS+/BBS- finish, with no issues to report. A WTG and XTG pass. Early days with the Astra SP + Tradere combination, although so far I preferred the Gillette Silver Blue - it felt that little bit smoother. Who knows, I may change my mind tomorrow.

Nice woody scent from the Pitralon, and a couple of drops of the face oil, nicely finished everything off.
