Simpson P8 TSN 163/200 Best
Synergy HTGAM Lime
iKon Bulldog II w/ EJ89 Head & Feather
GFT Skin Food Lime

Starting to get used to the P8 now. Mine is incredibly soft but hasn't got that much of backbone, I have therefore come to the conclusion that it is probably performs best as a bowl lather.

Do most other people agree?

The Life of a PolSilver Super Iridium blade - day 4

Wash with hot water
MenU bristle brush
Face lather with Edwin Jagger Aloe Vera Soap plus Ingram cream
3rd pass Lush Dirty shave cream
EJ DE89
PolSilver Super iridium (3)
Cold water rinse
Avon Essentials conditioning after shave balm

2 passes was nearly enough this morning, despite a small nick under my nose n the first pass, but perhaps I'm being picky I went for a 3rd pass, this time using Lush Dirty shave cream, a hand applied non lather cream that as usual gave great results, it really is spot on for a touch up pass.

Over all very happy today, shame about the nick.

First time using the Avon Essentials conditioning after shave balm and have to say it seems very good, my only gripe is the silly bottle it comes in. I've had a balm in this type of bottle before and it gets messy, a tube is so much better. Having said that this balm is slightly thicker so may suit the bottle better. Can't complain with results on my face though, well happy.

Thursday 23rd January 2014
Prep: Shower
Razor: Gillette 'New'
Blade : Treet 'Black Beauty' Carbon
Brush: Semogue SE 2012 Mixed
Soap: Wlikinson Sword Stick grated
Aftershave: Astral Cream (light)

My first DE shave for over a week; IMHO, 'New's' really take some beating for quality of shave, some models certainly look nicer than others but they all deliver a great shave.
I always admire the classy models that 782SirBrian shaves with.

Regards
Dick.
