The life of a PolSilver Super iridium blade - day 1

Hot water
EJ DE89
PolSilver SI blade (0)
MenU Bristle brush
Edwin Jagger Aloe Vera Soap & Ingram cream
Cold water rinse
Avon Signature A/S balm
Avon Urban Edge scent.

Face lathered and set to. Have found my first shave with a PSSI's tend to be 3 pass, although later ones can be 2 usually first is 3 and this nearly improved on it. I should really have gone 3 pass but went with 2.5, the point 5 being on my neck not my face.
The shave was smooth and over all the result was decent but as close as I know PolSilver can be, still, I usually get some improvement after the first shave so we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Monday

Mitchell's Wool Fat
Semogue SOC Boar
#15 Aristocrat
7 o'clock SharpEdge
Professor Blighty's Green Ginger AS

A very nice shave this morning, it was just a quick few passes but the #15 is efficient enough for that to be plenty. Nicely finished by the Green Ginger AS.

I need to learn how completely finish the chin and jawline. Anyone got any tips or videos? Everywhere else is BBS.

Skin stretching and moving your jaw plays a big part with straights. The jaw line is pretty straightforward - on the down stroke, drop your jaw so that you have a more or less even plane. You will see that you have shaved well below the jawline doing this. On the XTG/ATG I find that extreme stretching to keep the kneck area firm helps. Do this as far up as the jawline with jaw closed, then open the jaw to do above the jawline - again keep the skin taught.

You can use similar techniques with the chin - it's more a question of building experience and confidence however.
