Excellent shave, not a slow leisure shave due to being between night shifts.

Just received the English Leather and its slightly different, (in a nice way) to my beloved Trumpers Spanish Leather.

240ml/8 FL OZ of English Leather too, happy days! :)

Afternoon, everyone.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJDE89
Blade: Rapira SS (1)
Brush: Ecotools Kabuki
Shave cream: Kiss My Face unscented
Aftershave: Homemade rose splash
Cologne: Czech & Speake No. 88

Although the blade felt a little rough, compared to the Silver Blue from last week anyway, the shave was very close and my skin was problem-free.

excellent. was looking for a blade for tonights shave, and saw these treet blades ive had for ages but never got around to trying. im impressed, might buy a cheeky twenty.
 
So tonight's shave was my first attempt with a straight razor. I stropped the blade 20 times on each side as recommended, whipped up the lather and got to work.
My hand was shaking so bad I had to stop and take deep breaths to reset and try again. I eventually completed half of a first pass (sideburns to jawline) without cutting myself. The lather had started to dry on my face I was taking so long. :D
Finished up with the ATT Kronos M1 & PSI (2).
Anyway, I'll live to shave again.

Soap: Ralph Lauren Safari
Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable M3 date code
Blade: Gillette Platinum #1
Post: Alum, Floid "The Genuine", Simpson's Vitalising ASB

Result: Another disappointing shave with a Vintage blade. I'll give it a full work out before swapping it out for the NOS Eversharp for Wednesday's shave. That said the end result was pretty good and it's always nice to use a birth year razor.

My first shave with the iKon, i had a excellent smooth shave, nice razor.

I think i'll use this for a few shaves, then see how the Deluxe plate compares to the Gillette 15mm & 17mm heads.

Yes that is the new hard soap that will be sold as a square cake, its just soft enough to be pushed and shaped into a bowl by hand. The tin is a sample tin of the new ones yes. I am still awaiting delivery of the first order. It's a shame no one can smell this soap, it smells absolutely divine. A nice warm sweet powdery spice scent. I think a few people will like this one. :D
