Vokshod gave up halfway through the first pass so up stepped a Sputnik much better and super smooth shave followed 3 days growth gone.

Great Shave. This brush has the softest tips of any brush I have ever used, lathered Ingram very easily, Myrsol F./Extra was very nice, similar to Floid less "spicy" I thought.

Bluebeards revenge ASB

Blade became very scratchy on the one edge part way through the shave. The other edge performed well though. Strangely not much bite from the alum but the Bluebeards ASB stung like hell!

Congratulations. That Colibiri handle is a thing of aching beauty, perfect proportions and Rafael should be roundly applauded as well as praised to the hilt. Hat's off, dear fellow.

Blade: Vintage Personna "Made in GB"

Razor: Merkur 38 (c)

Cream/Soap: Klar

Aftershave:pitralon Swiss

Good shave,first time with the vintage Personna, very nice blade indeed. Revisited my first DE, the Merkur is a belter of a razor. Klar is wonderful stuff, I have stocked up on it recently. With the NOS Addis, it lathers a dream. All finished off with the Rose flavoured Pitralon.

Post: Guerlain Vetiver ASL, Guerlain Vetiver Soothing After Shave Gel

Result: A great team; a week of great shaves. The Guerlain Vetiver range is very good - lovely scent and good skin care properties. The Feather SE is a pleasure to use - very sharp and super smooth. Now to select next week's gang.

Another great shave with the old.
Tried my 40033 travel brush and gave face lathering another go this morning much better result.
Have a good weekend swmbo and I are off to a petanque tournament tomorrow so wish us luck.

Lovely, lovely Tabac. I'd forgotten how little of this stuff you need and ended up with mountains of lovely lather. Sputnik has reached the end of its life but gave a BBS in return.
