Cold water splash
Nanny's Signature Bamboo & White Grape
Muhle STF V2 23mm
Gillette Guard
Floid ASB

Quick 2-pass travel shave. First with the Guard... not too bad a shave although I don't think the handle could have been made any cheaper!

Haven't posted in SOTD for a while but gave my Wardonia a try with some newly acquired barrel hole blades.
First two passes were very draggy and didn't seem effective, but the blade benefits from a little stropping first. Managed a very comfortable shave which was good on the face and a little below par round the neck. Unusually the underside of the chin was very good, which I normally struggle a little with.

Nice and cheap a/s balm which I forget the name of

A bit of vintage Brut deodorant spray

The brush is malting heavily these last few weeks. it must be the warm weather :)

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage rebranded Simpsons best
'Roller' frankenrazor'/Personna Super Chrome Platinum (NOS)
Klar Kabinett SS
Barbership Bay Rum AS
more Barbershop used liberally as cologne

I am just so tickled with this aftermarket item made for taming aggressive Old Type heads. Third straight shave with this Roller Guard Razor head stuck onna Weber handle. It feels like an open comb but so much more comfortable. I would guess though that the shave is gonna be a little smoother with the Old Type, but I don't care. I love the Roller Guard technology!

BBS results,

Martin
