Yesterday I received a new brush from Lee. This is the densest M&F knot I've ever used. Perfect shape, proportion, symmetry, density.
Loving the photos, especially the second one with the reflection:)

The picture says it all. . .. .

What a shave. . . !
First of all I would like to say a big thank you to Iain, @Digimonkey, for kindly sending me a selection of blades , one of which I used today.
The Rapira blade was certainly sharp and smooth in equal measure matched with my trusty Futur on setting 2.5.
I only had one days growth, but the audible feedback from the razor sounded like it was turned up to full blast.
The Chinese/Zealand soap didn't look much when I bowl lathered but once I applied it to my face it expanded and expanded. More than enough for three passes.
My face is as smooth as can be.

Evening shave.

Baxters of California Face Wash.
RazoRock Italian Barber soap.
RazoRock Bruce 24mm synthetic.
Little Wren shaving bowl.
Schick Injector Adjustable.
Personna blade (3).
Thayers Witch Hazel (cucumber).
Alcolado Glacial Splash.

A thoroughly enjoyable 3 pass shave with pick-ups. Irritation free and pretty close. I have had fun using the Schick and I think it would be an ideal razor for a travel set up. So I may well buy one in the near future. It's muggy here in London, so the Alcolado Glacial was very welcome.

Tuesday evening...

Soap - OSP Fougére
Brush - Semogue 2000
Face lather
Razor - Ever Ready 1912 'Streamline'
Blade - Gem Personna
Post - Thayer's Rose Petal and Aloe Vera
A/s - Flöid MV

Two days growth now seconded to history (via the plughole); thanks to the combination of OSP, ER and Gem. Very close and smooth finish. The 'Streamline' is a hefty razor; so the usual light touch is even more important.

OSP delivers as always. Slick, tallowy goodness and a lovely post-shave feel.

A superb set up Rob.
Is the Manchurian softer than the Silvertip?
I would be interested in your thoughts.
You know that if you have lost the love on a certain SV then get in touch....

EDIT: Great track @Blackmass and thanks for sharing. :)

Without doubt the most gel tipped Manchurian I've ever experienced!
