Warm shower
Hot flannel
HTGAM Lime bowl lathered
Finest Badger brush made by myself
Gillette Redtip Superspeed (Made in England)
Sputnik (3)
Cold rinse
Thayers Lemon witch hazel
TOBS Victorian Limes aftershave

Palmolive stick
Vulfix Bodger
Aluminium ball end tech, Polsilver Stainless
RSC moisturiser
Green Tonic

A reliably good set up, no need to be changing any of it really, but what'd be the fun in that.

Cold water splash
Klar Kabinett
Shavemac 177 Silvertip
ATT M2 Kronos
Perma-Sharp Super (3)
Floïd Balsamo Dopobarba

Third super shave with Perma-Sharp blade. It really works well in the open comb ATT. Might try and squeeze one more shave out of it tomorrow.

Tuesday

Afternoon, all.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJ DE89
Blade: Astra SP (4)
Brush: Ecotools Kabuki
Shave cream: RSC
Aftershave: Pashana Bay Rum
Cologne: Fico di Amalfi

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Proraso pre-shave - sensitive
Soap: Prof. Blighty's Grapewood
Bowl: Woodhead Pedestal
Brush: MÜHLE Kosmo silvertip synthetic
Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable @7
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1)
After: Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS, Coral Skin Food ASB

Experimented by adding Soda Crystals (sodium carbonate) to the water in the basin to soften it. Prof. Blighty's soap, although wonderful, has a tendency to not perform best in hard water. Today's shave had loads of lather with very little effort.
I'm going to continue using Soda Crystals with my other soaps now and see if they improve too.

I still don't get why Silver Blue blades are so well regarded. They just seem average to me. Ho hum.

TUESDAY EVENING

Pre: Cold rinse & Prep cream
Cream: T&H No 10
Brush: New Forest 2221
Razor: Cobra Classic
Blade: Feather Pro
Post: Veg, IK balm

Blade is still being broken in so my face is burning a bit. However, no cuts and a smooth finish so I'll take it.

Aluminium handle Tech
Gillette Silver Blue (3)
Balea, Proraso, Ingrams Cream + Palmolive/Erasmic soap + Krampert's shave enhancer
Shaving.ie Silvertip
Witch Hazel
Lagerfield Jako EdT

In a moment of indecisive madness I ended up using a big mix of stuff for lather. Turned out very nice!

Prep: Cold Water Splash, Floid Oil
Razor: ATT R2 on Weber Bulldog
Blade: Astra SP (1)
Brush Stumpy Gecko Walnut 2-Band
Soap: TOBS Luxury Lime
Post: Witch Hazel Splash
Aftershave: Floid Blue

My usual 2 pass, cold water, face lather shave.

A couple of drops of Floid oil on my neck before the ATG pass.

Excellent shave, i used a 7 O'Clock Yellow in this razor on my last shave, but much prefer the Astra SP as i do in most of my OC's.

Yesterday's RI Mei blade already dead after only one very good shave, so:
Satinex Swedish super steel
Long comb New
Sir irisch moos stick
Kent Infinity Silvertex
Paco Rabane 1 Million

EJ DE3D, BiC Platinum Chrome
Hand-carved Beech 24mm Finest
Ingram
Blue Stratos AS
Unrefined Shea Butter
Blue Stratos EdT
Bounder 'Tache Wax

Very good indeed. :D
