Today was my first shave with the new Valobra Fougere Shaving Soap. It was an exceptional shave; the soap is superb.
 
Prep: Cold water splash
Soap: Klar Kabinett
Brush: Golden Nib 2-band badger knot / Vulfix Grosvenor handle (great combination!)
Razor: Weber Polished / Bulldog
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Black/Indian (1)
Post: Weleda ASB
EdT: Lalique Hommage a l'Homme

Every time I come back to the 7 O'Clock Black I tell myself THIS is my favourite blade, sharp yet very smooth and comfortable.

Shave at silly O'Clock this morning but a very satisfying shave all the same, accompanied by radio 4.

Prep: Hot shower, followed by Neutrogena Razor Defense Face Scrub
Soap: Cella
Brush: Simpson Tulip-1 (Super)
Razor: E&J DE89 w/iKon bulldog handle
Blade: Ladas (6)
Post: Thayer's Lavender witch hazel
AS: Captain's Choice "Cat o' Nine Tails"

I skipped my usual PSO prep, Cella doesn't need it. First time with this brush, excellent performer for as small as it is. First time using CC-Co9T, it's supposed to "burn" but it didn't. Nice warming Bay Rum scent that lasted about 2 hours however.

...was a distinctly average shave but the Bay Rum, Oil & Cologne lifted my spirits well. The shaving cream just doesn't smell like the wonderful cologne and is quite hard compared to my almost empty pot of TOBS Rose. Yesterday's rasp with the #58 was better but today's scent has got to be my favourite.
