All the soaps mentioned are very good, but may I suggest 'Boots Freshwood Shaving Soap' in the Bowl? it smells nice and lathers good and its around £3

It is a superb soap. I often forget about it as it doesn't get talked about much. Still very excellent and underrated

Is the Boots stick exactly the same as the bowl, just in stick form?

Hmm, I have the stick mashed into a bowl, and was wondering if it's worth buying the bowl too. The stick isn't bad, I've only used it a couple of times, so may use it tonight and update. It doesn't really have a scent, I have the Boots Freshwood balm and if the bowl smells the same, then it isn't the same formula as this doesn't.

I used it, got lot's of lather, took a bit more time in the Suribachi than others, but was a very slick and comfortable lather. I must use it more often. Still, may also get the bowl for comparison :icon_razz:
