Exclusive: A hands-on, first look at the Blackland Blackbird razor

Gratz Shane! As a very early user of your Blackbird I'm rather excited to see this razor soon seeing the public light of day.
It's truly a great razor design - that angled head had about one shave of learning curve and then I found the angle (close to how I shave with a SE razor where I have the head almost flat to the face) that worked for me - and the shaves that came then were all stellar. As, I think, TSE said there's a different feeling shaving with it but it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is :)

Or as his wife is probably saying, "three days to go and $1,000 short. I told you you should have gone with $20,000 as your stretch goal." ;)

Delicious! I'm looking forward to the shaving cream!

So...
What scent have you chosen for us, Shane? You've had a couple weeks to think about it, surely you've come up with something by now...:D

Still haven't decided. Whisk(e)y is definitely on the list since it's one of my favorite things.
If you're going to spell it with an "e," you might as well call it bourbon.

Add some madagascar vanilla, a little white oak, and now we're talking about some good smelling shave cream.
