Black pudding

Great with a full breakfast, as so many have mentioned.

One of the pubs I use with the car clubs does a black pudding and goat's cheese starter with a sweet chutney, which is great.

Delicious simple breakfast: in a bun with bacon and marmalade.

Nigel Slater printed Paul Heathcote's cheese and black pud hash brown recipe years ago, it's a minor faff but well worth it. Whenever I think about this bloody thread I tootle down to the chip shop for a jumbo haggis in batter; orgasmic, to eat that is.

It's funny you mention that, my Mum lived just outside Wolverhampton for a few years, late teens to mid twenties when she married my pop.
