Black pudding

Great with a full breakfast, as so many have mentioned.

One of the pubs I use with the car clubs does a black pudding and goat's cheese starter with a sweet chutney, which is great.

Delicious simple breakfast: in a bun with bacon and marmalade.

Nigel Slater printed Paul Heathcote's cheese and black pud hash brown recipe years ago, it's a minor faff but well worth it. In fact here it is: http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/514871 (I haven't tried the sauce, which Slater never mentioned, but the basic hash browns with an egg are awesome).

Have just got back from the pub, and thinking of food, and you go and remind me of black pudding... i could easilly eat it between toast at the moment...
