ENJOY YOUR DAY FELLAS
It's good soap, really good and I've compaired it to Tabac before but only in the way it lathered up so easly , as you say it smells nothing like Tabac.
Brush: vulfix 404 'Grosvenor
Razor: Hone Type 15
Blade: Supermax Super Platinum (1)
Soap: Pre de Provence No 63
Post: Boots Tea Tree Witch Hazel & Old Spice Original
Day three of cold water shaves and I am very much enjoying them, I don't know if the Hone is a cold water razor it felt less gliding than usual but that coud be lather. A good shave was had in any case. The soap is interesting, I got it off a BST as part of a lot. I see Tabac throw about so I wasn't looking forward to it. It is a nice scent, doesn't smell like Tabac to me. I get a more subdued Calani Oriental Plum minus the richness and plum. Lathered superbly well with the Vulfix (under-rated brush!). Finished off with a classic.
A wonderful set up,Pat...the photo shows it of excellently.
It was more like Calani Oriental Plum but everywhere I read it says tobacco so I assumed it would be a bit like Tabac, which I hate so much. Pleasantly surprised and the lather was most excellent. It's good soap, really good and I've compaired it to Tabac before but only in the way it lathered up so easly , as you say it smells nothing like Tabac.
