First shave with Sanskrit, and I am pleased to say it is another top quality product from P&B. The scent is wonderful, spicy and exotic, with each breath through your nose bringing something different to the senses. Cardamom is dominant, clove follows close behind, the warmth of sandalwood comes through to surprise you. When I was done with the shave, I found the black pepper came through as a parting gift. Performance beyond compare yet again, with a post shave finish to put even skin foods, balms and creams to utter shame.
Prep: Hot face towel
Bowl: Cheap and cheerless SS bowl (plenty of 'High Side Clanging', thanks tomj777 )
Brush: Kent Infinity synthetic
Cream: Simpsons unscented (yet again)
Razor: Muhle R41
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge yellows
Post: Cold water
Haven't used the R41 for a few days and forgotten how aggressive it is. Nice though. Not a great shave today, sadly. Didn't get to BBS with two passes so went full potato with a third ATG pass. Still a bit patchy. No nicks as usual, which is nice. Really not liking these 'yellows' this time around either. Also, been finding that the Simpsons drys out quite quickly, so added a bit more water today. Too much I think; Lovely lather but a bit thin and insubstantial. Never mind, tomorrow's shave will be better
