Second shave with the 37C. I just can't fault it. It's one of my best razors.

Mulcuto slant all the way from Germany.

Slant is on my list but finding it hard to decide: modern Merkur 37 - but one more Merkur? I already have a Merkur 34 and a Merkur 45, three's company - making vintage possibly my best bet.

It's arrived.

The teeth appear thinner than on my other one I have. I can't compare to the brown one as it's offf on a passaround.

Was in 2 minds to bid or not as I don't really need another one of the same brand / type but thought why not?

Tried another one myself today, a Hobby all-plastic slant, 20 gramms:

A rather aggressive but not unpleasant shaver.

Used the above razor yesterday evening, and today, twelve hours later, I was still amazingly smooth. That was a rather pleasant surprise.

I think that's the one that got hyped up by being called Italian Barber - it's a nice head geometry though.

I think Italian Barber has a head that has more or less the same geometry, but the bottomedge of the bottomplate is horizontal. I have a razor like that, not sure if it's a "Italian Barber" but please try and keep m apart, but haven't tried it yet.
