Soap: Proraso Green

Forgot to take a picture this evening as I'm in a rush but that was a thoroughly enjoyable shave. The Kai/Hiram combination is buttery smooth and efficient.

Sometimes you just can't beat a bit of Proraso Green on a warm evening.

Haven't touched this soap since last Oct. What a mistake...hahaha! The scent is wonderful but the lather is the best...thick, rich, creamy, and very slick...nicely whip-up by the excellent brush...
The razor today feels good after the pasted balsa & Kanayama strop. Crisp, smooth, and comfortable...2.5passes for a sas finish & 2 micro red spots. The aftershave kinda matches...and smells wonderful.

I found later they are also sold on Amazon in a 3x bundle (the clear 500ml bottle) which works out at roughly the same price.

I noticed the Amazon bundle too, but held off on the enabling until the boys confirmed they liked it ;)

Last home shave before a few hotel stays, so went for a bit of heady scented soap. The Caties pairs well with Denim, four and out for the Nacet.

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Chantry Lavender Goat's Milk Bar Soap.
Brush: Fine 24mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Vitos Vegetal shaving soap.
Blade Personna PTFE SS. (D3)
Razor: Schick Type G Injector.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ P&G Old Spice Original ASL./Boots Freshwood ASB.

Early morning birthday shave.

A wonderful birthday shave set up with a mixture soft & hardware that i love which have gave me superb shaving results with each and every outing...Today, on my special day was no exception.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable birthday shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollop's of Boots Freshwood ASB.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Another new Yaqi brush, I’ve never been sure about 28mm brushes as I’ve often found them too big but this Timberwolf synthetic head is great, slightly on the softer side of medium backbone. I’m not sure on the handle looks but the shape and feel are great. The Mars, PAA soap and pre-shave were fabulous.

Good shave again, going to switch back to the Darwin again tomorrow to compare and contrast. I do like the WRH7 handle, knew I would after trying it on the WR3 passaround, cheers again @Scorpio93 made the handle choice easy for me.

My first use of a guarded blade in this Evo. I have quite a strong growth and find that with this blade, I can work merrily away without fear of mishap to get an ultra close all round finish. I would recommend everyone with a heavy growth to give this blade a whirl.
